1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of MyWeddingCity, including the website at myweddingcity.com, the vendor portal, and the MyWeddingCity mobile application (the "Platform"). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Platform. By creating an account, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • You may register as a "Couple" (user) or a "Vendor." Vendor accounts require additional business information.
  • We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. User Roles and Responsibilities

4.1 Couples (Users)

  • Browse vendor listings, read reviews, and compare services.
  • Send enquiries to vendors and communicate through our chat feature.
  • Leave honest reviews and ratings for vendors you have engaged with.
  • Use the wedding planner tools (checklists, budgets, guest lists) for personal wedding planning.

4.2 Vendors

  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date business profile.
  • Respond to enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Ensure that portfolio images, videos, and package details accurately represent your services and pricing.
  • Comply with all applicable local, state, and national laws and regulations.
  • Maintain any required licenses or permits for the services offered.

5. Vendor Subscriptions and Payments

  • Vendors may subscribe to paid listing plans to enhance visibility and access premium features.
  • All payments are processed securely through Razorpay. Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated.
  • Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by applicable law.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.
  • Failed payments may result in downgrade of your listing or suspension of premium features.

6. Content Guidelines

  • You retain ownership of content you submit (photos, reviews, messages).
  • By posting content, you grant MyWeddingCity a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display and distribute it on the Platform.
  • You must not post content that is illegal, defamatory, misleading, obscene, or infringes on others' intellectual property.
  • Reviews must be based on genuine experiences. Fake or misleading reviews will be removed.
  • We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these guidelines without notice.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You must not:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our systems.
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or scraping tools to access the Platform.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure.
  • Collect personal information of other users without consent.
  • Circumvent payment systems or transact outside the Platform to avoid fees.

8. Intellectual Property

The Platform, including its design, logos, trademarks, and software, is owned by MyWeddingCity and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission. Vendor logos and brand names remain the property of their respective owners.

9. Disclaimers

  • The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
  • We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of vendor services. Vendors are independent businesses, not our employees or agents.
  • We are not responsible for any disputes between couples and vendors. Any issues should be resolved directly between the parties.
  • We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MyWeddingCity shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MyWeddingCity, its directors, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

12. Termination

You may delete your account at any time through the Platform settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Sections relating to disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification survive termination.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India. You agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally before filing a claim.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via email or a notice on the Platform. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
